"WINDSWEPT WORLD"
- High Peaks Wilderness, Adirondack State Park, NY -

The Adirondack High Peaks are a vastly different world in winter. Fierce winds sculpt every part of this fragile sub-alpine environment. This image is made up of multiple images stictched together and was taken on a summit climb to Iroquois Peak in March of 2010. Mount Marcy, the highest point in New York State at 5,343 feet, is in the distance with Mount Colden's slides visible directly in front.
